Tasting Notes: The wine is straw yellow in color with intense primary aromas of citrus, green apple, and yellow flowers. On the palate it is fresh, zesty and elegant.
Vineyard Notes: Vineyard location: Donori, Sud Sardegna. Soil type: sandy-clay. Altitude: 110 meters above sea level.
Production Notes: Soft press with the use of free run must only and cooling process at 10-12 C. Fermentation is carries out at controlled temperature of 14-15 C. Refined in stainless steel tanks with batonnage
Winemaker Notes: Tenute Smeralda is a young agricultural company founded as a continuation of the Cocco Francesca company, which has been operating in the wine-growing sector for about 50 years. The company is located in Donori, South Sardinia, in the Parteolla area, which, thanks to its microclimate, is particularly suitable for the cultivation of native vineyards, such as Vermentino and Cannonau. The latter is known for its high content of procyanidinis, a powerful antioxidant and known as elixir of life.
