Winemaker Notes: At the foot of the village of Serralunga d’Alba, on the slope just behind it’s wonderful castle, lies the small plot of land where we cultivate our grapes within the splendid amphitheater of Rivette. The area has never been bathed in the spotlight despite the fact that it produces Barolo with a decisive sensory impact and a good capacity for aging.

Food Pairing: Pairing: mature cheeses, grilled red meats, game, mushroom dishes, international cuisine.

Other Notes: The estate was established in 1920 by Giovanni Mainerdo, who, fueled by a great passion for wine, began vinifying small batches of grapes from certain areas of particular prestige in different municipalities located in the communes of Neive, Barbaresco and Serralunga d’Alba.
